'The White Seasons' was very honoured to interview Peter Binkiewicz, the managing partner of Lacey Bell. Here we talk about the upcoming bridal shows that Lacey Bell will be exhibiting, tips for the brides to be and the importance of social media.

Lacey Bell offers stunning wedding accessories, jackets and veils for the bride to be. You can view their collection at www.laceybell.co.uk.

1. Tell us a little about Lacey Bell and how it was founded?

"Lacey Bell Ltd was born two years ago in the bedroom of a two-bed flat. It was 2013, and as a result of collaboration between me and Marcin Korolczuk we have acquired over 70 stockists worldwide, and the business is still growing with great pace".

"We initially met by accident, and, after countless talks and brainstorming sessions, we arrived at the conclusion that the bridal market needs, and deserves, a vibrant and progressive brand that listens to its clients and delivers impeccable service".

"We believe our vision will bring exponential growth and an unprecedented level of customer satisfaction".

2. Have you any plans to venture into designing Lacey Bell wedding gowns?

"That is a really good question. We have been working in the background on styles, fabrics and designs for wedding gowns. We have discovered that Bridal Dresses are a totally different challenge, and require much more preparation before the final product can be produced. We were hoping to launch a small collection of dresses in Harrogate 2015, however it might be too close to the deadline, and we would rather present a superior product at a competitive price than something which is cheap and mediocre. That would go against everything Lacey Bell Ltd stands for".

3. What inspired you to go into the wedding industry?

"Our personalities! It is a very fast pace industry, challenging (lots of competitors, looming deadlines, multiple contractors), but extremely creative, rewarding and vibrant. The most gratifying part of this business is bringing happiness to people on their special day"!

4. The White Seasons absolutely love the collection that we have featured on your Avantgarde and Elite collection, should we keep an eye out for any more new collections due to be released?

"Definitely! We hope that we have made a mark on the manufacturer’s map! We also trust that our clients are not only happy with our accessories, but our customer service and, of course, the lovely people they do business with! You might have a great product but if your customer service is not up to the mark you will eventually fail in the long term. That is the reality of the Bridal Industry".

"To be successful you have to evolve your collections with ongoing trends and styles. Bridal is Fashion, and many designers observe our industry in order to take inspiration for their designs and styles. Remember that every world famous designer ends their catwalk with a wedding dress, and that ‘Sex and the City (Part 1)’, was a huge showcase for the most important designers promoting their dresses. Proof if proof were needed!"

"We are going to be presenting updates to our current collections in Harrogate this year, and next year we are aiming to bring out a fresh, new catalogue, so… watch this space!"

5. Are you at any bridal shows coming up?

"We are exhibiting at The Harrogate Bridal Show, 13 - 15 Sept 2015. We will be based in Hall A, Stand: A20/21. We have increased our stand space this year in order to accommodate our clients in a more luxurious way. We want our visitors to be able to shop with convenience".

6. Lacey Bell joined Twitter quite recently (in December) do you feel social media has a huge impact now in reaching out to brides?

"Twitter is a great medium of communication for busy people in a busy world. It has been a learning curve, but our growing number of followers is testament to the fact that we have something interesting to say".

"We have gained a number of new retailers from Twitter, all of whom placed orders and become repeat customers".

"We have noticed that in the past social media had a crucial importance in communicating business-to-customer, however now it is as important in business-to-business communications. Recently I heard a saying: Business can be built in one tweet and destroyed in one tweet! That sums up the importance of social media".

7. Do you have any tips for brides looking for the finishing touches to her special day?

"My tip is simple, ‘Less is More!’ meaning if you have an intricate dress keep you accessories plain. If your dress is plain then dress it up with more elaborative accessories. However if you love opulence, just go for it!"

"Make the best out of your day! This is your dram wedding and as long as you feel fantastic that is the most important thing. It’s your dream wedding!"

8. What inspires you to come up with all the beautiful modern collections that you launch?

"We are confident… and that is what makes us capable of breaking boundaries and experimenting with the ‘status quo’. We are creative and hardworking and not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. It is important in life to work hard, but also to have fun along the way. Remember there is always another day, be positive!"
