Lorna- by Badgley Mischka Looking for that extra detail on your wedding dress? Then look no further with this beautiful style. The gown is a full-length mermaid and has all the delicacy you need with its flowing tulle and embroidered silk thread work, with the finishing touch of pearls to add the elegant touch. This type of dress will be great for the modern day bride and for those also wanting to achieve the vintage look.
Shape and Style Advice The shape will suit the hourglass shape, pear shapes and for all who love to show off your shape. This style of gown will contour and sculpt the body from the chest to the knees showing off your shape and providing a romantic look as you are heading down the aisle to your husband to be. The outer part of the gown consists of tulle which is a semi- transparent material, this creates a soft flow to the dress. The gown also consists of bead work with clear and tinted crystals, giving the dress the sparkle of elegance it needs to stand away from the rest. The fabric underneath the tulle is Chantilly lace which adds delicacy and romance to this sleek style.

Illusion Back The back of this dress is one of my favourite features of the dress, with its eye-catching lace overlapping on to the illusion back working perfectly to incorporate both fabrics together. The dress details are continued with the crystal buttons which only leads the eye to the stunning train which is removable. Its fabrics are tulle and lace and create a dramatic impact to the dress with a feature that can be changed throughout the day.

Neckline The neckline shape is round. This will modestly cover your chest area for those church weddings, however as this in not sculpting to the bust it is good to keep in mind that you can lose your figure.
The three quarter sleeves are perfect for those who prefer to not have their shoulders and arms exposed. This will be ideal for those who are slim and want to add more shape, as this style will make the area seem wider to complement your figure. For those of you who are larger it will also create cover for those areas you wish to not expose. However, keep in mind that this shape of dress is more restricting and will accentuate our natural body shape.
The dress is separated using decorative bead work across the waist line creating a divide, ensuring that the bodice has a feature before it is continued in to the mermaid skirt flare.
Accessories With this style of dress there is no need to worry about jewellery such as a necklace or bracelet as this gown holds everything it needs.
With regards to a veil, this type of style would work well with and without one. If you do wish to have a veil then the best one to go for would be the cathedral length which will go well with the long train. The short and fingertip veils would hide the details of the back and would finish in all the wrong areas to complement the style.
Colours This dress is available in Ivory (as shown), blush.
