Happy New Year to all you gorgeous ladies out there! We are here to help you along your journey as you are researching and trying on the perfect dress for you, and what better than to start as the New Year has begun!

To help you along your way for the next few months we have selected particular styles which suit certain shapes. As we all know there are so many out there and different ones will complement your figure in different ways. So this is our dress choice for the petite brides.

This beautiful wedding gown, Blue by Enzoani Ibarra is a fabulous dress from the 2016 collection.

This full length bridal gown is stunning from front to back. The style of the dress is sheath; which is a straight gown, as the seam runs vertically from the shoulders to the hips, flattering a bride's natural shape. This style is most suited to the petite or slim lady, as it is fitted to sculpt the body shape.

It is important that you are comfortable in the dress that you are wearing for your wedding day, so try to stick to the same style of dress that you would normally go for when shopping. As more than often it follows the same shape that you would normally choose.

The dress features beaded spaghetti straps which are great for the smaller ladies, as it will volumise the chest area and provide support if you are more petite. Straps on larger ladies can make the bust area appear bigger than what it is. The sparkling appliqués on the straps add the little bit of glamour it needs without taking it away from the elegance of the dress.

The top of the dress is a unique sweet heart scalloped neckline, which appears like the top of a 'heart' and the 'scalloped' is the way in which the lace is edged around the neckline to create a curved shape finishing it off perfect.

This elegant style has a different look for the 2016 brides to be, it has a sexy modern day look, and has that special feel factor.

This style is very feminine whilst having a plain sophisticated look, less is always more. Also, featuring corded lace which is delicate fabric pieces that are applied on to the dress, crosses the modern and traditional look in a classic way.

My favourite feature on this dress that I feel makes it 'stand out' from the current bridal gowns, is the flattering bloused bodice. The bodice holds a lovely fitted shape around the waist line, and then has the soft relaxed flow as the chiffon is loosely draped.

The fabric is made from mesh chiffon which is transparent (lining is placed underneath), and it is a lightweight material. This makes it a popular choice to go for if you are getting married abroad, or even as a second dress for the evening reception. It provides a soft flow and feels comfortable on the skin.

Finally, if that isn't enough the length on the train is an 'eye catcher' for all, as you are heading down the aisle. As it softly descends from the bridal gown, this delicate finish of beaded lace appliquéd completes the dress for all you brides out there who love a cathedral length style, and for those who are having a Church wedding.

This gown is available in Ivory only. For more information follow the link below on more beautiful wedding gowns.
