This wedding gown from the Badgley Mischka 2016 collection is a fresh approach to the latest bridal design styles out there. The Lizzy bridal dress is a Hollywood glamour beauty that is a must for all you future brides to be! Straight from the runway this lovely traditional gown has the perfect look for all you modern day brides, and it is one that will certainly make you feel special.

The style of this full length gown is a mermaid fit and flare, and is perfect for you ladies who love to show off your shape. This cut will fit your natural body shape from the chest to the knee, and then flare out to the hem. The type of style will complement the hourglass shape well as the body shape is proportional, meaning that the weight is evenly distributed. This is a very sexy and romantic look that highlights our curves and enhances your figure.
The fabric is made of tulle which is semi-transparent providing the dress with the fairy tale look and feel. The lace is appliquéd on to the mid part of the skirt which adds an elegant look and works well along side the tulle as it creates a soft natural flow; finally finished off with the hem being tulle adding a delicate touch to the dress.
The sparkle belt creates a feature point to the dress as it is based at the center providing a divide between the top and bottom parts. This helps to separate the waist area from the bust ensuring that it enhances our figure and complementing it well, alongside the sparkle on the straps adding the delicacy to the shoulders.

The dress is lightly decorated with bead work which is braided and also consists of satin, a touch of pearls, and some crystals to add the sparkle it needs to stand out from the rest.
My favourite feature to this gown is the stunning illusion low V neck back, which consists of tulle and lace. This illusion style is a semi-transparent panel and enables the dress to go low down the back whilst still keeping it elegant and feminine. The support of the straps adds structure to the dress and bust area. The back is mirrored at the front of the dress following the same V neckline which is great for all you petite ladies out there who want more shape, as this style makes the shoulder area appear wider helping you to fill out your top section. However, for the larger ladies this can expose a lot of cleavage, and the neckline is unsupported and open making the area appear larger but is ideal if this is the look you are going for.
I feel this gown is a real eye catcher from front to back as you are walking down the aisle to your husband to be, with all your family and friends waiting with excitement to see the bride. As you make your way down the gorgeous tulle cape will follow you with its exquisite delicacy you will feel like the special bride you are. The cape is detachable and follows the same style of the dress with the lace applied on the hem making it ideal for you brides who are looking for a long train for the ceremony but no restriction in the evening. The buttons are crystal which complements the dress well and is a lovely change from the many standard zip or plain button backs that we see on most styles.
